Probably is a good deal to be done there in January as well with 18 months left on his contract.
Only thing is that arrest he was involved in and if he's cleared of all charges etc.

So same higgledy piggledy shite we saw last season with the centre backs now happening in midfield. If only someone could have foreseen this

Is it the players, medical staff or training intensity issue etc.? Or factors like "game-load" - not having enough quality players to rotate/sub players? 🙁 We've been luckier with the attacking players (till date).

We have 2 sick notes on the books, Keita and Thiago, which is poor recruiting. Then a freak accident took out Elliott.

We always had an issue with 5 of our midfielders who were expected to miss decent chunk of the season, each for various reasons.
Apart from Elliot, who never should have been counted as a regular.

We really aren’t seeing anything unexpected apart from pure stupidity from those involved and anyone whom expected anything different, to risk such another season with a fantastic crop of team is just mindless.

I would rather they fast tracked Morton than see Jones or Ox in the positions they finished against Brighton.

Our midfield 3 our often underrated due to not being fancy like City but without them, we look flakey and porus.

[article]Delve a little deeper into Oxlade-Chamberlain’s playing time, however, and something even more remarkable emerges – he has only 90 minutes twice, in his last 76 appearances for club and country, dating back to April 2018.

Yes, you read that correctly. Norwich in the EFL Cup on September 21 and before that Monterrey, in the Club World Cup semi-final, in Doha on December 18, 2019. No wonder, then, there was so much riding on this collision with Atletico Madrid for the former Arsenal man.[/article]

At the moment we have Milner (hamstring possibly back 20.11), Naby (hamstring return date not yet known) and Elliott out but making progress in his rehabilitation and will play again this season.
Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson, Ox and Jones available.

Last year we had 3 season ending injuries to 3 CBs. We're not close to being in the same situation in my opinion.
We have several players that are prone to the odd niggle, short term injury out and we have some who have been out for a longer period.
If that is because of the intensity we play, amount of games or injury prone is anyone's guess. Most likely a combination.

Going forward we need to replace Ox and Keita. Ox isnt good enough and doesnt warrant a place in our squad. Keita cant be trusted, only has 18 months left on his contract and signing a new one wouldnt be in our best interest. Sell him and see how much we can get.

Bobby Naby & Millie, 3 x hamstrings in recent weeks. Surley it's time to call in the dentist and get their wisdom teeth removed, (extra support required in Bobby's case).

Henderson will not travel to San Marino. Returns to Liverpool for assessment on an injury.

BBC doesn't say what the injury is.
