No, he hasn't played and I've been wondering why. Bojan or one of the other youngsters such as Jeffren is usually preferred, which means he's definitely off in the summer.

To be fair to him, then, his shit performances for France might just be down to rustiness if he hasn't played for his club. I dunno... he might be worth a punt. It's a very big risk, though, given that his game always relied so heavily on pace and flexibility.

This is the guy ive been going on about for us to sign!! awesome at defending and awesome at attacking!! was barca bound start of the season but contract issues with deportivo screwed the deal up and then he got injured.

It's been a weird experience to see Henry play in that Barcelona side. In the Premiership he was one of the most graceful strikers we've seen and his technique was often something t behold. But there (even from the beginning) he almost looks clumsy and ungainly alongside the likes of Xavi, Messi and Iniesta.

How much of that is down to the fact that Henry isn't quite the player he was - the electric pace has definitely gone - and how much due to the fact that those players are amongst the best technicians around, I don't know, but he's never struck me as someone ready for the scrap heap just yet.

I suppose it's hard to say one way or the other without a bit more insight into what's going on with him, but yeah I agree, it'd be a risk to sign him. If a club like ourselves could get two decent seasons out of him though, it'd be worthwhile.
