If we did buy one 'superstar' for £50 million

Pogba plays in Serie A and had an average world cup. Besides the manc story I don't get the hype. He is definitely not a 'superstar' in my books.

Really don't think a £50M player is going to make such a difference, and to be honest there are none on the market that are worth that. If there was one thing this year's world cup showed us - it was that the quality of players around the world has significantly declined. But to answer your question - of the rubbish that is available in world football that I have seen, I think the player that would make a difference to our team is
Juan Cuadrado

but he is not worth £50M, and from what I am reading he may go onto join Manchester United unless Barca put a stop to it.

Pogba, why all the love?

Strong, powerful, quick, skilful, gets stuck in, scores goals, reads the play well for his age, has fantastic acceleration over first few yards, good football brain, good passer, will to win, good feet. I like him. He'll probably end up somewhere where I'll have to hate him.
Only youtube, but worth a look.

he's a childhood Arsenal fan Sean, though.

Papers talking about us willing to pay €54m for Vidal. Is he really that good and to add he is 27

I'm not sure how serious his injury is, and if it was aggravated by playing in the WC. He went missing in pretty much every game for Chile, likely due to the injury.

I would love Vidal to be here. Could be Gerrard's replacement for the next 4-5 years.

Gerrard used to drive his teams forward through power....i have not seen many who do it the way he did. But Pogba looks like the kind of player who can top that......but at the moment he is quite raw and his head needs to be in the right place to be as good as Gerrard was.....there has been plenty of evidence its not in the right place....so 8ts difficult to call this one....

Vidal, Vidal, Vidal,
Like the barber called Sassoon.
Vidal, Vidal, Vidal,
He supplies our va-va-voom.

Buy him!
