I hate Spurs.

Apart from my dislike of Candle Face, I feel pretty indifferent about them. Don't like 'em, don't hate 'em.
He played for them yonks ago. In fact half the time I forget he ever played for them.
Never really cared about them.

I've always despised them.
Its the fans who annoy me the most. For years, even when they were really shit, their fans would talk as if they were brilliant and go on about how they are a 'cup team' as if it was a choice (and its not even as if they won many cups anyway!)
The whole 'year ends in one' is probably the most feeble boast in football too. 'Yeah we're great, every one season in ten, when we really show what a great team we are, er in the cups. Which we sometimes win.'
But obviously the most annoying thing about them is that they always seem to fucking beat us, no matter how dire they are against everyone else.

Up until the Manure run they had won the most FA Cups. Not much else though I guess.

Two of my best mates supports Spurs. Until recently I've always enjoyed watching them as they used to be so unpredictable. Now they are cunts as are my mates.

I don't really like any other teams in the league though I do have a soft spot for Southampton mostly due to Le Tiss. I once had a soft spot for West Ham but that has passed some time ago.
For Spurs - well, I quite admire them on one level to be honest. They've nothing like our history but they're streets ahead of most other teams. What they've done in the last 10 years is something I imagine many posters wish we had done; they've built themselves up steadily and 5 or 6 years ago the cheap, value transfers they were making were outstanding. They've had a fair bit of money put into them since then but, without having gone back and looked up the details, I'd warrant a lot of it is due to the good work of several years ago.
