Hull or High Water

This is one of those games that looks a bit of a non event on paper, coming sandwiched between Chelsea and Spurs but is actually fairly significant in the context of our season.

The top 4 dog fight has tightened up over the last month and we have lost a lot of momentum with 5 teams competing for 3 places. We have been telling ourselves that once we got Matip Coutinho and Mane back we would slip into the pre Christmas groove again.

If we win today we will leapfrog Arsenal and we can reassure ourselves the slump is over it was based on a tough fixture schedule and missing key players. If we don't win then we will be well and truly out of plausible excuses. Our key players are back, we had an extra 24 hours rest than Hull and we have no games for another week. A defeat and we risk slipping out of the top 4 going into a tough run of critical games low on confidence.

So while it doesn't feel like a big game I think it's essential we stop the rot now. I'm going 2- 1 to us.

I really really hope I'm wrong but I can see this being another day of fuck ups from us. That defence looks vulnerable as fuck.

I was pretty optimistic before this game, but with Lucas in the side its gone. Hull nailed on to get a pen from a Lucas foul.

HAHAHA LUCAS!!!!
I was actually gonna fuck with everyone and write that Lucas starts or something,.

Didn't Snodgrass take their free kicks? He's gone so maybe that's a positive in view of the fact Lucas is playing

There is absolutly nothing funny about Lucas starting. It just shows how much work is left with this squad.

You seem to take enjoyment from us losing and also having to play one of the worst footballers in LFC history.

You're very strange

I see the funny side in things, like people panicking when he starts.
I bet we'll be just fine with him and Matip.

When he starts we usually lose. Hilarious.
´Bullshit....

Lucas is better at CB than CM and he's done okay there this season. It's that or Gomez who isn't ready yet.
It's the attack that matters most today. They're gonna be well organised against us, as per pretty much everyone we play now. We need to start showing the rest of the league that we can beat that shit

I'm not sure Hull will necessarily park a double-decker against us. They've taken to Marco Silva well and they'll fancy their chances against the defence we're putting out. This could work in our favour if it gives us more space in which to attack them, but our finishing will need to be an order of magnitude better than it's been lately,

Last time you crowed like a delirious clown about that cunt starting, he put in one of the worst displays at DM that I've ever seen, and we lost.

I'm fairly certain that we will win.

As long as Klopp doesn't pick a totally spaz team that features Lucas or something. Beating Leicester will prove fuck all though, as we will then probably lose the next game

Goes both ways doesn't it?
I think we won against Leicester didn't we?

Man, I'm on fire today. King Kong ain't got shit on me!
