Hull or High Water

Oh ffs no need to take it seriously! Hull away .... to the point, no nonsense, accurate, not cryptic and easy to understand much better!
I'm pretty sure anyone reading the forum seeing a title with 'Hull' in it will be able to guess what it's about! And if they can't then tbh they shouldn't be on here anyway!

The match thread will be titled as normal, obv.

That Everton loanee, Niasse, will obviously score. Their new manager seems a talented one and they look much better.
Will probably be close but hopefully a win for us. We need it.

Ha, fair do's, you're the mod!

Tbh I wasn't worried about the Chelsea game at all. We have played well against all the top teams. This game worries me. These are the games that have been fucking up our season. Chelsea game didn't show me anything I didn't already know nor did it make me think we've turned the corner. Hull will park the bus more than likely so this game will show if we've turned the corner.

We are pretty much just in a battle where 3 of 5 get CL next year. Winning is a must.

We have a chance to go back to the XI that was causing mayhem in Oct/Nov/Dec

--------------Mignolet-------------
Clyne--Lovren--Matip--Milner
---------------Hendo--------------
-----Lallana---------Gini---------
Mane------Firmino----Coutinho

Indeed basically boot Can the-fuck-out-of-it

I agree

I cannot remember a pre match thread before where there is complete consensus about the team with no bickering or sniping and very little room for debate. We all agree, which shows how, once the surface has been scratched, the depth of quality in the squad is not so great.

All of which has to be a cue for an unexpected lineup.

Matip didn't look sharp, so I'd play Klavan as CB. Rest Milner and play Gomez LB. Drop Can due to his calf and bring Lallana back into middle 3. Front 3 of Coutinho, Sturridge and Firmino with Mane on bench to bring on some pace against tiring legs in the 2nd half.
Ming
Clyne Klavan Lovren Gomez
Henderson
Lallana Wijnaldum
Firmino Sturridge Coutinho

Rumoured team:

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Coutinho. #LFC

Happy with Lucas, thinks he's done well every time he's played at CB. Not happy with Can in there though would prefer Gini.

Otherwise as expected, hopefully it'll be enough
