I don't think Firmino has been bad. He leads the press, and is always excellent at it. But for the press to be effective, it needs the midfield supporting just behind. Both Coutinho and Lallana are very good at it.

Wijnaldum and Can are too deep and on the odd occasion they go forward, their touch is too heavy, and they lose it immediately.

Henderson sits behind not doing anything of particular note either. His passing has been pretty bad.

It's actually Alexander-Arnold who's been our most creative and consistent passer today.
