Reminded me of thisThis Gini being shit away from home is weird too. Either he sorts that out or he can fuck off as well. Get him a shrink or something, but there's no point in having him in the squad if that's how it is

Wow. That's unbelievable.
he was never very good but at least he covered ground. If he can't do that anymore he's gotta go.
Good job we've got so much cover
Why would Newcastle fans care about Henderson? When we bought him, I checked up Newcastle fans opinion on another forum. The consensus was great player when the team is playing well, no point in having him on the pitch when things are not going according to plan. During their relegation fight, Rafa often did not start him because of his tendency to hide even though he was the most talented player in the squad.
He's referring to Wijnaldum, but Woland is obviously talking about Henderson. Why would Newcastle fans care about Henderson?
Indeed.Poor The Modo

That's shameful for a midfielder.
If he didn't do anything particularly in attack or defence, I could forgive him if he was 'keeping things ticking along' in the middle. But that stat proves he seriously did fuck all.
It's not just him, but I was reminiscing about midfielders that demanded the ball over the last decade or two with the 'just give me the ball and I'll think of something' mantra. Like Gerrard, Alonso, even Danny fucking Murphy.
We have NONE. Well we have Coutinho. Have/had.
Our midfield is shit.
I'm going to try to go about this like an adult, so bear with me.
I missed the first half and he was subbed in the middle of the second. So I didn't get to see much of his game yesterday.
Read about him at RAWK and the general opinion is that he doesn't look fit.
I re-watched the Watford game, well large bits of it and my honest opinion is that something seems to be off.
I don't think he's completely fit, not in a conditioning sense but more injury related. I just don't see the same type of running.
His reading of the game has never really impressed me but his agility, pace and hard work more often than not covered for it.
This time around he just looks a lot slower, like something is bothering him. Before he got subbed yesterday I noticed that he in several situations was late in terms of covering and running back to defend, which left us a bit exposed in midfield.
I've rarely seen Klopp sub Henderson mid game and Klopp did say something afterwards about him having a tough pre season. Rested or something wrong, your take?
I now don't like him at all. I thought he'd get tougher but he hasn't.
The point is, away from home teams sit back a lot. Which means he has all the space in the world in the middle of the park, and can make runs into the box whenever he pleases. Away from home when we're under pressure, he gets exposed. Repeatedly. And can't do anything going forward.
He either toughens up or gets replaced.
Players are capable of changing. Looking like he can't.Wijnaldum's impression of a fucking ghost in away games isn't news, it was regularly discussed by Newcastle fans when he was there, and discussed at length by me and others when he signed for us.
AgreedHenderson's been plagued by injury for two years. It's too early to make a judgement on how those injuries have had a permanent deleterious effect on his physical attributes - mobility, stamina, pace etc - but if they have, he is nowhere near good enough to be in the first team, because those attributes are the only things that make him a decent player.
The midfield trio of him, Wijnaldum and Can isn't anywhere near good enough, and with the absence of Coutinho and even Lallana, it makes the need for new midfield recruitment even more painfully obvious.
