People comparing him with Kewell must be having a laugh.
Kewell was twice the player Harry Wilson is or will be.
Yeah but what about all the other facets of the game? It's not like Wilson is only gonna hang around outside the box waiting for shooting opportunities and take free kicks?Maybe not - but we cannot not try him at some stage in the future - I mean there are few players in our team that actually score from outside the penalty area these days. Sturridges goal against Chelsea must have been the first one by us since Emre Can's goal against Huddersfield last season.

Was DJ Syd the one who fucked me over? I can’t remember who it was now.
The last Harry almost single handedly won us the European CupThe only thing both Harrys have in common is that they're not gonna make it here.
I dont think any player had a single moment as influential as Harry Kewell in Istanbul.Harry Kane ? You've lost me.

He changed the game.

Hahaha....how long did his impact last ? All i remembered was it wasn't long enough for me to have a dump too.
Is right. The fucking massive tongued antipodean let down bastard bitch banchuudI think he means that his injury meant he had to go off and Didi came on.

Well it's not quite right, coz it was Smicer that came on. Rafa neglected Didi to include Kewell, who then got injured. The Finnan injury at half time forced the Didi sub.

Didn't that shithouse Kewell make another miraculous recovery for the 07 final? I'm not sure because that match has almost been entirely expunged from memory.
I don't know. But why he gets so much flak for celebrating in 2005 genuinely bemuses me. He ran a few yards after the shoot out. I never got why that wound so many people up. There were Scousers in wheelchairs, maybe even one or two in graves, who leapt about a bit at that moment. It's weird to think if he'd stayed in the dugout with an ice pack on, looking miserable, he'd have had less abuse!
If I remember it correctly he was limping during the celebrations.
Yeah that's bullshit.Maybe I'm just naive and not being cynical, but I generally don't really buy into players (especially Liverpool players) "not trying" or "not caring", or wanting to be taken off in a European final.
