My first thought was re the player same as fff.

a) Upsetting
b) Makes you check your head or get a friend to do it.
So I'm thinking that maybe he was told he had a bald spot, that would make me cry and get a teammate to check it for me.

Fair enough FFF. I'm sure when I see it I'll feel even more sorry for the lad - I do already - but my first thoughts were how this makes the club look. I've had the odd comment from time to time, and it does hurt. But never really had it that bad that I cried. Nor on such a stage, obviously.

I was coming back from the game with a mate that sits in the block where the incident happened. Nobody around him heard anything. Also, the whole block has a massive cross section of ethnicity. Nobody in the crowd reacted to what was said.
All I can say was an old fella went straight up to a steward at full time and seemed to be having a go about something.
Personally, I was embarrassed about the Kop singing the Suarez song when something clearly happened to a black player. Whether it was racial, or something else, we should be rising above this. Then again some cunt behind me was shouting shit about stabbing Evra's wife. He was shut up pretty quick.
