The last time we were in CL (14/15), we had Real Madrid, Basel and Ludogorets and finished 3rd with only one win. Will be quite a disappointment to go out at the group stage again.

With the league matches to juggle with, we can always wait for the epic clashes in the knockout stages.

Also, our co-efficients suffered due to our non involvement in recent years. Having easier group on paper will hopefully mean higher chance of progress (may even seal qualification with 1-2 group stage games left to play), more wins, better co-efficient for future campaigns etc. There's of course the domestic pot of revenue to be shared (further progress = higher %).

On a purely selfish note, please let our first game be away. I'm going to Portugal for a few days on 13 September so would miss the first game if its at home. Guaranteed its gonna be Barca at home or some fucker like that.

Yes mate, Little John was going over with a few of his mates so me and Lee decided to Geg in. Same flights, Arrive Wednesday morning and back Sunday night.

Hopefully not as many of the East London crowd there this time!

Cast iron guarantee we are in the same group as Barcelona with the Coutinho crap still going on. Good thing is, it automatically tells them they have ZERO chance of signing him this summer. We then go there and stuff them at their home gaff again.
