It's already happened mate, 100%.We're getting group b. Count on it.
The last time we were in CL (14/15), we had Real Madrid, Basel and Ludogorets and finished 3rd with only one win. Will be quite a disappointment to go out at the group stage again.
With the league matches to juggle with, we can always wait for the epic clashes in the knockout stages.
Also, our co-efficients suffered due to our non involvement in recent years. Having easier group on paper will hopefully mean higher chance of progress (may even seal qualification with 1-2 group stage games left to play), more wins, better co-efficient for future campaigns etc. There's of course the domestic pot of revenue to be shared (further progress = higher %).
That was a weak group and did us no favors. Over the past two years, we clearly perform best against the strongest teams. I will truly fear a weaker group more than a strong one.
Of course, we will beat a Bayern or Real or Barca and then return to the Premier League and draw or lose to Brighton.
