Gonna try this thread. Hopefully it'll be of use. If you go to the games, either home or away
What pubs, cafes, chippy Etc do you recommend?
Any travel tips or good pubs for aways?
For instance my favourite pub for homes at the moment is the cabbage hall. For normal kick offs we usually book a table and have a meal then meet up with a few more. Sometimes stay in there until kick off but normally have a walk to either the church or the kop bar.
On Saturday against Burnley though, seeing as it's an early kick off, we'll probably try the anfield cafe, which is very good , if we can get in. Then get in the ground early to avoid any hassle with the new ticket system. Apparently the club have reduced the price of a pint to £2.90!
