is he zaha?

or however you spell it. Their young striker whos apparantly thenextbigthing tm
Yeah thats him i think mate (i could of heard wrong, but i'm, sure they called him Wolf Zaha).

He's been quite quiet in the 2nd half, but looked good in the first 45
Thatd be a great nickname.....its wilf they call him though...short for wilfried. But his records not great, 3 goals in 60 games.

Yeah but have you seen those 3 goals? Anyway ignore his record mate, he's going to be a monster.

Interesting stat on Wolf:

12 players have been booked for fouls on him this season.

This just proves for me that defenders simply can't handle his skills.

Edinson Cavani 2011 HD - Best Goals *NEW*

This man is worth anything up to 50m for us.
He might have a slight problem with his nickname but he finishes well with BOTH feet, great with his head, versatile, hard working, and everything you could want from an attacker. A true world class attacking talent. Lets grow our smiling Uruguayan population.
Edinson Cavani has frightened Napoli fans by admitting “I’d like to play in Spain. When the time comes, I’ll know.”

The Uruguayan hitman has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the San Paolo, as Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all shown an interest.

“I am used to it, as since the moment I arrived here there has been talk of transfers,” Cavani told Uruguayan newspaper El Pais de Montevideo.

“But I am certain that when the time comes, and when there is the concrete possibility of a move, I will know before anyone else does.

“Now I let people talk and don’t pay any attention to those rumours. I am concentrated only on what I have to do for Napoli.

“I really like English football as well as Italian, but I am also a fan of Spanish football. There are more spaces there and it’s great for a striker who likes to move around on the pitch. Spain is ideal for me and I’d be very happy to play there.”

Wonder when he's gonna reveal he's a childhood Real Madrid / Barca fan, well at least until Man City wade in..

Podolski's name came up to my mind after his 2 goals yesterday. Didn't realise he's already on 11 goals (and 5 assists) from 13 league matches - shouldering 70+% of Cologne's league goals. Will he be suited to the Premier League style of play?

(13 goals, 8 assists from 32 league matches last season)

He's a bit inconsistent but I've always thought he would be a good buy .. and not expensive.

Moving back to Cologne after failing to make the grade at Bayern Munich is a good move. At the age of 26 now, he's ready for the next step up.

Cologne striker Lukas Podolski has admitted that offers are arriving for him, although he first wants to hear what his hometown club can offer him before considering his future.

The Germany international scored both goals as Cologne salvaged a 2-2 draw at Stuttgart yesterday and, afterwards, the coveted forward said that his options for the future are still open.

"I will talk to Cologne before anybody else and see what they have to say," he told ZDF television.

"Of course I am getting plenty of offers and I expect more of them to arrive to me, to my agent or to my club in the coming weeks.

"But I repeat, I must first talk to Cologne."

Podolski still has 18 months left to run on his contract with Cologne
, but after a turbulent few months, he has frequently hinted that he would like to move to a bigger club at the prime of his career.

That could become reality next season, although he is just taking things as they come.

"I have become more relaxed about things in general," he said.

"There is no rush.

"I will just sit down and discuss things with Cologne and then we will have to see."

We couldn't afford Cavani, and wouldn't come to us.
You have absolutely no idea how much money we have to spend you negative nancy. You're just talking out of your ass. There is every possibility he would want to link up with Suarez on the club level. Every Uruguayan who gets to play with him at the national stage is probably tempted by linking up with him at club level. He's the best possible player to tap someone up you could hope for.

I don't tend to think of Podolski as top class. I wouldn't pay a huge fee for him.

As for Cavani, I'm more inclined to agree with him.

Reportedly available for 12m Euros in January. i

Bayern are sniffing around, but he's said he's open to a move to England.

Papiss Demba Cissé

Wonder if his involvement in Africa Cup of Nations will deter suitors from moving for him during the transfer window.
