So, having read the twitter nonsense this morning, I have a question for the regular match-goers / old-timers...

When singing 'ALOTBSOF' against the scum, is that really considered code for the Munich chant..?

The only time I've ever seen us play the scum, we beat them 2-0 at Christmas time in 1994/5ish, and when the 2nd goal went in with about 20 minutes left, all of Anfield bellowed out "Fuck off Eric Cantona" and "ALOTBSOL" for the remainder of the match - And I joined in, lustily...

Am I the only person there that didn't realize that we were actually taunting them about Munich? Or is all that 'code' talk this morning made up shite?

Christ, I hope that it is.

They change the words ...

The Monty Python song has been adapted by some who chant "Always Look on the Runway for Ice" while Reel to Reel's 90s dance track has been switched to "I Like to Munich, Munich".

I know that, mate. I'm asking if, when the words aren't changed, and we sing 'Always look on the bright side of life", as we did that night, is that us just taking the piss (as I thought back then) or is it 'our' way of taunting about Munich without actually saying the words?
