I really hope dmishra is wrong =( talking of bologna, I remember him saying he liked him but thought €20m was overpriced.
 
Tim Vickery is not exactly sounding out his praises on that link to Talk Radio, and he has a good idea of South American Football. If you have not listened to his opinion then its worth listening because he is saying the guy is a little slow and can't get into the main Uruguay squad (don't know if he has go in since then but you all know the Olympics team he is in - is because he is under the age limit). I have a feeling that the analogy about him being a henderson-downing hybrid maybe true.

From watching that clip, I don't know what to think. He looks gangly, and like half of what he does he either fucks up or doesn't mean, yet he's got good technique, is decent in the air, a good finisher and he strikes the ball cleanly. He looks like some result of a Dzeko and Wanchope experiment.
 
Hmmmmm..... as soon as he did that "training with Liverpool" thing... It's a shit rumour that's been circulating all day. Hasn't there since been both pictures of Uruguay training AND pictures of Liverpool training?

He doesn't actually strike me as a tiki taka sort of player. With Suarez doing his one man band stuff, and Ramirez running with the ball a lot, I'm not sure how Rodgers' style of footie will work in the last quarter of the pitch. But at least he seems to have a bit of with and imagination about him, which would be nice to see.
