Imperative we beat Stoke tomorrow then. Think it could be our hardest game that we'd be expected to win in a while.

Stoke's record at the Brittania is really excellent. This is the sort of game that normally makes me nervous but in a way I think the pressure of falling behind Everton and Spurs will work to our favour. We'll fight like fuck for the result. And Butland has pretty much begged to be made Suarez's bitch.

Begovic is usually excellent when we play them at Britannia, but Butland will probably play a blinder now.

Commentator just said Van Persie is appaz out for 6 weeks

No big surprise, is it? He spent 8 seasons where he played 194 league games our of 304.
In the 1.5 seasons at MU he's played 49 out of 59 - so he's above his normal average...

Valencia's 1st P Lge goal at OT since Boxing Day 2011. 700 days.

Utd with an offside goal, quelle surprise

Today has been a shitfest result wise. Utd have been horrendous and are leading 2-0.

I didn't see the first half al- but Swansea have been shit second half.

They did the same as us - kept the ball just outside their own penalty area, passing it sideways as their midfielders stayed up and the mancs started pressing until a mistake was made. The overall passing style is great but the disinclination to move the ball out of defence quickly invites these problems. Swansea threw the initiative away, the great berks.

Well, those results couldn't have been any worse.
It makes me nervous that we've had one of our best starts in years and United have had one of their worse, talks about sacking the manager, etc. but currently we're only two points above them. Gulp.

Well, that only serves to confirm what we all inherently know - that for a long time we've been poor and they've been very very good.

Win tommorow and it'll look much better, Mancs are away to Chelsea next and us Villa at Anfield, decent chance of an 8 point gap by next Sunday.

Spurs and Everton are the really annoying ones.

When do Spurs next have a difficult game? Do we go back ahead of them if we draw tomorrow, because that's how I think the game will end.
