Football without Origi was nothing

Origi the enigma.

he is a cult hero not only at Anfield but also in Belgium and had a baby dolphin named after him

from wiki
[article]On 25 June 2014, a baby dolphin at the Boudewijn Seapark in Bruges was baptised "Origi" in Origi's honour after having scored the winning goal against Russia during Belgium's group stage match at the 2014 World Cup[/article]

and true to Origi style

Baby Dolphin Origi dies

quite sad for the baby dolphin actually, but kind of sums up Divock Origi.

the blessing and the curse.

Minamino is 27 this season, if nobody has figured out what position he would be good in by now its probably because there isn't one

I think his position is either the 1 further back in a 4-4-1-1 or as the central player in the 3 of a 4-2-3-1.

But we don't really play either of those...

Isn't Div into the last 12 months of his contract? Seems like he will just run down the clock and leave for a bigger wage packet elsewhere.
Pearcey just said he has a contract til 2024. He must have been giving Edwards something good

He'll leave, and despite what most of you think of him, he has everything you want from a modern striker, pace, dribble, strength, and composure. He is lazy because he has probably lost the will as he hardly gets played and when he does he seems to be judged on a single miss even though Salah and Mane miss loads.

I think the issue is maybe our valuation but there are many clubs that would want him, of that I am sure. If you guys pick all the other strikers from the PL who have played the same number of minutes as Divok, who would you pick over him ? Its not always the players fault, Klopp has tio take some blame, if you use a player so little, how the fuck is any buyer supposed to make a judgement on his current form ?

For the record, i had no love for Ings like so many of you have and still do. That type of striker is useless for a team like ours and even our rivals.

That's a pile of @rse. Ings presses from the front like a boss, brings others around him into the game AND knows the way to goal. He's going to be mint for Villa.

Sorry Ahmed but that's Crapola with a capital "C". We wanted to keep him, hence the fee we charged Southampton for him, and with good reason.

Shame about Solanke - Chelsea fans were spitting tacks when we took him from them and I had hopes for him early on. Brewster never really convinced me though.

Yea i wasn’t feeling it with either of them but Solanke at least looked like he’d be worthy of some minutes over the course of a season at one point

from before we signed Solanke I knew that Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the horse we should have had our money on, just like I know the Eillot will go the same way as Shelvey, Wilson, Brewster, etc...
They will have the manager and supporters signing their praises but will never really make it as a first team starter and be sold on.

I think Shelvey could have made it under Klopp.
He had all the characteristics of a top class player.
No he couldn't have...too slow, awful disciplinary record and hasn't the energy to press for shit.

Other than a brief stint at Swansea where he looked good, I've never rated him.

I've got higher hopes for Elliott than most of them. Admittedly I loved shelvey and don't think he lived up to his potential

Shelvey could have been so much better than he was. I wanted him to start most games
