He's 21, but yeah, time is on his side. I think he needs to play more regularly.
Wish we could get this league chip off our back so people wouldn't be so up tight about rotation.
I think that Liverpool players are playing with a heavy burden on their shoulders. We're always supposed to win the league. That's been the mantra for 26 years. Same goes for the managers. What?

My point is, if that burden is lifted on the manager maybe he won't think twice before starting Alexander-Arnold at right back if Clyne isn't 100% fit or something similar.
We're obviously not in Europe this season so there's not too many games at the moment but those young players need significant time on the pitch if they're going to make it.
Ironically we've got our strongest squad in many-a-year thus rotating the squad would be less of an issue. Rotation doesn't work if you're including players like Aspas, Lucas, Lambert, Assaidi, Shelvey, Spearing, Downing etc but when you have at least 16 or 17 quality players then rotation can help keep everyone fit and at their peak.We dont need to rotate when we play once a week.
He's a talented player, playing well and working really hard.
I don't like hm as the lead striker at the expense of the Sturridge and prefer him in the supporting role. I think we're a more dangerous side with Firmino, Mane and Sturridge as a front three with Wijnaldum making way, especially against lower league opposition.
--------------------Henderson-------------------
-------Lallana------------------Coutinho------
----Mane---------Sturridge----------Firmino--------
This. This with fucking great bells on.
Indeed...and where I think we agree is if he isn't, then Firmino isn't the answer. Nor is Origi yet but I have high hopes for that lad. I suppose what I'm saying is Firmino should never be the central striker and when Sturridge isn't fit, I'd turn to Ings for the time being.Yeah, obviously. But only if we could be sure that Sturridge was the Sturridge of 2013-2014 vintage. And could stay fit.

Where are the cunts now saying he's shit?
Idiots
Hey now, there's still time.Wouldn't go that far. We all get them wrong from time to time. There have been plenty saying how shit Lallana is too.
Well I was one of those cunts but I prefer to lose the argument if it means the team or an individual player is successful.Where are the cunts now saying he's shit?

But that's why I think Ings would fit perfectly into a Klopp side. He's industrious, versatile and, irrespective of the smoke being blown up Firmino's arse, a better finisher. Sturridge should be first choice but if / when he's knackered again replace him with Ings accepting that what we lose (slightly) in finishing prowess we gain in industry. Firmino should always be one of the wide / supporting strikers.Unless Origi shows some amazing improvement, or, as you say, Ings comes to the fore. I quite liked what little I saw of him at Burnley and LFc, but again, is he more of a wide/ support striker? Would he be prolific and enough of a focal point to play the central lone striker? I dunno.
it's not really though.
Take it in jest... it was tongue in cheek....Well I was one of those cunts but I prefer to lose the argument if it means the team or an individual player is successful.
Actually MANY LFC supporters EXPECT to win the league. The day we stop is the day we actually are a mid table team. Dont bother quoting last season or the season before positions. The point being we are expected to challenge.I don't think anyone thinks we're supposed to win the league, and I doubt that has anything to do with klopp's relucatnce or otherwise to rotate.
No one does.Actually MANY LFC supporters EXPECT to win the league. The day we stop is the day we actually are a mid table team. Dont bother quoting last season or the season before positions. The point being we are expected to challenge.

I dont drink.Actually most do - season starts - they expect to win the league. However, I have realized that there is a lot of doubt and non-expectation that is now public among many of the people on this site. I am too tired tonight but I think someone on here should start a thread:-
'When did you stop believing... - we could challenge for the title ?'
Oncey - please start it when you are off the drink a little and/or not measuring the size of your cock.
Cheers,
MORON
I was banging on about him a year before we signed him and was shocked and delighted when we did.I have no problem admitting I've said from the off that he would be a boss signing, because he's a great player.
I asked in the summer to join and I'm not on the list 🙁Theres only 8 of us in the army this year.
