Ferguson taking the piss even further...

Reading the Sunday papers it appears Ferguson has taken taking the piss to a new higher level.

Apparently, Dalglish should shut his mouth about respect because one of his players was rude about the ref after the game. Therefore he was going to strenuously deny and defend himself against all allegations made by the FA.

Laughable. So because Ryan Babel did it via Twitter, Ferguson can do it seems to be his approach. He's forgetting one thing though, Babel was cited and punished for his comments / actions. So it should be the same for Ferguson, with his "previous" being bought before the court as well.

The other thing that struck me was, Dalglish never named anyone in his comments about the respect campaign. Yeah it appeared to us all it was a thinly veiled niggle at Ferguson but Dalglish do not name him.

So Dalglish is clearly getting to Ferguson as he referred to him by name in his article. Ferguson may well have met his match in the media mind games.

Dalglish 1 Ferguson 0.

Every manager has the right to be perturbed after a match containing poor,match-deciding decisions.

However no manager has the right to be a classless turd over said decisions, like Fergie is/was.

It's one thing questioning a decision, it's another questioning a referee's integrity.

RE Babel, that was banter, find me a single football fan that didnt giggle when they saw that; Fergie's comments are just malicious.

I'd suggest that photoshopping a picture of a referee to show him wearing a team's shirt *is* questioning a referee's integrity. But I see what you mean.

Ferguson has being doing this for years, intimidating and bullying people, so that they are scared to go against him when they come to Old Trafford. He thinks he's bigger than the game and that's unacceptable. He needs to brought to book but because he's got away with it for years, however because he has got away with it for years its now normative behaviour for him, which is why he's wondering what all the fuss is all about.

Its nice to Dalglish is starting to rile him. That means more than any fine or touchline ban he gets.

Dalglish will bully Fergie in the mind games. He is already getting the better of him and Slir can't handle it. Most managers bow down but its not the case here. He'll get some of his own medicine.

Oh the irony if it comes to pass that Kenny is the one to finally knock Fergie off his perch.

This. Excellent post.

It's not even as if Babel created the Howard Webb image himself.

Yes, "legally" he shouldn't have done it, but he wasn't the instigator.

The stinking hypocrisy of "we can't talk about referee's decisions" when it's Rat Boy or Fungus, but then chucking his stress toys out of his buggy when the boot's on the other foot, makes me nauseous.

Come on then, fanny nose, bring it !

Grima Wormtongue is out and Aragorn is here to clean house.

It's quite disgraceful that this classless, slurring, drunken piece of shite was given a knighthood.

But not surprising really.

Sir Matt Busby
Sir Bobby Charlton
Sir Alex Ferguson

Can you see the pattern emerging? Of course there are other knighthoods in football but strange that there are no high profile ones for people linked with the England's most successful club.

Not really. Ask anyone who's not an LFC fan why he got knighted and they will remember his association with them not us. I'm not saying he shouldn't have got a knighthood. That's not the debate.

The debate is why their lot get them and our lot don't. I'm sure many will say "fuck the establishment" but the lack of recognition towards our club in this fashion irks me loads.

While our Liverpool greats have been sadly overlooked for knighthoods, it takes nothing away from their achievements and they get recognition from the people who matter. Us!

That's why after 20 years, the Scum is still playing catch up. That is a testament to the greatness of the bootroom.

Kenny is back to reclaim the perch.

Poor old Fergie will soon cheer up with his special day approaching on 18th March.

Fancy the whole country joining Ant and Dec in donning their nasal appendages in his honour. Bet old Dalglish doesn't have his own special day.

I think I'd kill to see Stevie lift the title under the kings stewardship.

I think fergies head would explode at the sight of it.

A nice chain reaction could start. Next in line for a exploding head would be Gary The Gimp Nevile.

Given the title of this thread, you might think it ironic that someone said on the radio yesterday: "Ferguson keeps things fresh by changing his number twos every few seasons." 😱

I see Nani, who's shin was damaged so badly last Sunday is in the squad for the Mancs this week. One report I heard today said "The Portuguese player hasn't played since Jamie Carragher's tackle on him".

Yeah, a fucking week ago!

I can't wait till he finds an excuse to show the scar off in the game. I have a feeling as the cameras dutifully oblige and zoom in on it, that we'll see a little string hanging out.

The others tended to play for West Ham!

There really aren't many football knighthoods and most of the others were for achievements with England or with the FA.
