On the contrary, not a bad way to go at all (if he dies). He likely knows SFA of what's going on and the family get to say their goodbyes. There are far far worse ways to go and anyone can list a 100 of them without breaking sweat.

I hated him. Like fucking hated everything about him. But thats because of football.
Because his club is my clubs enemy.
I really hope he pulls through and gets to enjoy more of his retirement.
If he was the Munich manager or Milan manager or Valencia manager there would have been so much to like. About the man. The way he set his teams up. The style of football. His background.
I always thought he must be brilliant to sit down and talk to about life.
I wanted him dead for so long for selfish reasons. Im better than that now.
The absolute BEST enemy we ever had.
And inarguably the best manager in the modern era. Probably of all time.
I still think he was lucky to be gifted Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Neville and Butt. Half a team of brilliant players all at once. He couldnt lose. But he went on to build dynasty after dynasty and thats not luck.
Anyway. All the best Fergie. A GREAT football man.

I wish the man and his family well for lots of different reasons and honestly most of them reflect my humanity.
But I also really enjoy those days when he is shown on TV sitting in the directors box at Old Trafford (full house) looking down on Mourinho struggling to make an indent on his impressive record.
.......and playing the most boring football comparable only with a Sam Allardyce/Tony Pulis side (especially if they're losing)
......and it's lashing rain
......and the crowd is silent and the athmosphere is dead flat
......and Mourinho has his head in his hands
......hiding the face he has on .......like to a bulldogs arse that's just sat down on a wasps nest.

It goes beyond that, its a request to show a bit of class, when in all likelihood you're gonna get the odd dickhead posting stuff that as a majority of fans, we're probably better than. I don't think it's patronising at all.
I hope he gets transfered to the Walken Neurological Centre in Liverpool just as our CL Victory parade is in full swing. He wakes up in the Ambulance and asks the paramedic why traffic is so bad what's with that bloody racket outside. Red flairs start going off everywhere. Allez Allez Allez rings around the city centre. Perfect.

I wouldn't wish death on the old sod and his stance towards Hillsborough was admirable and gentlemanly. His stance towards Preston... Less so. Still I wish him well and hope he pulls through.

My Brother in law had one in 1992. Changed his life forever, Doctor didn't operate till Monday as his office hours were then (had Hemorrhage Wednesday) - Left it over weekend and he had a second. Which left him brain damaged. Fixable if the gash in the vein is fixed immediately.
