Thoughts:

- great save by Kelleher late on, but I thought he was a bit poor in his positioning today
- Fabinho is phenomenal
- Rhys was solid, Koumetio doesn't seem ready (which is ok)
- Clarkson wasn't great today but he's young.
- Jota and Salah were off today. I thought they were a bit too kind in their willingness to pass early.
- Minamino has 6 months imo to try and make a dent, or we'll sell him. He adds very little currently.
- It saddens me how poor Origi is ... Don't even know how to say it fairly but I just feel when he plays, the teams intensity drops in the final 1/3. He's a legend, always will be, but it's to move him.

Love to see Kelleher with that big punch, especially given how clueless we are when someone hoists the ball in like that without Fabinho in there.

He seems to lack the gambling instinct of a goal scorer and his touch seems just to have deserted him.

Jota has been terrible today
Forward line suffered with Origi up front, offered nothing all game, And Midfield with Minamino, a player i like, hardly recieving the ball....

If they are not going to give him(Minamino); the ball then what is the point of him being on the field..?

Can't understand why you take of Jota and bring on Mane yet still leave Origi on the pitch...

Ace : Fabs
.
.
.
Good : Kelleher, Rhys
.
Ave : Clarkson, Robbo, Hendo, Tsimikas
.
.
Shite : TAA, Koumetio (just 18 though), Jota, Mo, Keita, Bobby
.
.
.
Utter Shite : Origi & Minimino

It looks like Tsimikas is more like the Greek Moreno than the Greek Robertson

Oh for God's sake. Origi was already off for Bobby !

Clarkson was pushed off the ball too easily but it's understandable as he's a kid but he has something about him I rekon.
He certainly has an eye for a pass and is able to play a long ball.
Oh, Origi is surely done at Liverpool.

The funniest moment of the game happened towards the end when it looked like they broke with a seven against two and still fucked it up.
Typically Hendo was the only one that tried to get back

I've given up on Origi.
Minamino isn't getting the ball because he's running around on the pitch like a headless chicken.
Jota messed up too many chances with bad passing.

I want to believe that Klopp subbed Origi because he had enough. Abysmal performance.
His body language tells me that he just isn't hungry any more.
Why keep such a unmotivated player?

In hindsight, we should have taken whatever Aston Villa were initially offering for Origi. I don’t think Klopp will tolerate this for much longer. It’s a bit sad that his career with us with end on a string of half-assed bad performances that we’ll have do our best to erase from memory to remember the good parts.

OK - I missed all that; had to collect my daughter from school, then she wanted to practice driving (test in 2 weeks), then I drove into a fucking ditch & burst my tyre, which was brand new on 2 weeks ago. Such is life.

So 2 questions :

1) Any injuries?
2) Is it worth trying to get hold of highlights & watching or am I nest pretending it never happened?

thanks

1) I don't remember any... But it was so boring I mentally tuned out multiple times
2) I wouldn't recommend it. See above

1) Yes, Tsimikas. Hence why Robbo was subbed on.
2) No, not really. Very sloppy play most of the times. Kind of boring. None of the "kids" impressed.

The state of Origi. When we went through 2V1, Salah played him a pass and he just nonchalently play a pass shot out for a goalkick and smile sheepishly like it's funny.

He can fuck right off though I doubt there will be any takers.

LOL at Donny Reid blaming the entire team for Minamino's shitness, but not Minamino.

Well, I wouldn't normally question Klopp's decisions, but I really didn't get him playing Clarkson for so long. If I'd had to choose between him and Cain to play, I would have chosen Cain, but when Clarkson started I assumed they'd have a half each - good idea, I thought. But as pleased as I was for Clarkson, who has talent, he'd clearly started tiring after half an hour. Why keep playing him??? When will Cain get a chance now? The only thing tested of Clarkson in the second half was his stamina.

And as for Koumetio, I said before the game he'd been playing in a daze since coming back from injury, as he was much the same today. I get why Klopp thought it was the right game for him, but was it the right time for him? I don't think so.

Keita was deeply disappointing. This was a game for him to act as a leader. He was shite.

And the ref - did someone bribe him at half time? He was shambolic.

Sounds like you need the driving test 😀

I've said before there should be a one replay rule for VAR - if you can't see that a decision needs changing after the benefit of one slo-mo replay, then it's not clear and obvious, end of. There should also be a one minute rule - no replay takes more than a few seconds, one minute should be ample to concentrate minds and force a decision. It's because they appear to have unlimited time for their deliberations that encourages all of this counting of angels on a pinhead. If a VAR intervention goes over 60 seconds, sorry, you go back to the game regardless. Tonight we had 8 minutes added time mainly because of the ridiculous faffing about of VAR. That's simply intolerable.
