i don't get what sherwood has been up to recently . He may have been right with some things he said after the chelsea game but he's coming across as quite aggressive and pissed off at everything . He's only in the job a few months but it appears he can't handle the pressure . Not exactly the image you want to portray when looking for the job long term or indeed potential jobs elsewhere .
I think he wants the job really badly, but is feeling insecure with all the talk about others eyeing the job, and perhaps also he's not gotten any reassurance that it's his job to keep regardless how things go. The funny thing is, when Villas Boas was cast off and Sherwood appointed, a lot of the talk was about how the former had lost the players and how the latter had a good connection with them. The revival of Adebayor's Spurs career was a centrepiece of that argument. Cue a couple of months later, Sherwood seems to be now coming to terms with what Villas Boas was dealing with.
the way city are playing and with the gooners injuries accumulating, we may well finish 2nd. we can only dream of winning the title if we win at ot on Sunday. I would even take a draw right now.

Have you ever thought we'd win a game? In history?? Ever???
Take a draw against the mancs? Stuff that!! No difference between a draw and a loss for us. The mancs are absolutely no threat to the top 4 and highly unlikely to go past this round of the CL. They're winning nothing this season, look rubbish in attack and defense. We're 3rd and within 4 points of top in March and you'd take a draw against them right now.
The only thing worse than losing to that team is giving up before we even get there. I'm going to stop typing now cause I seriously can't put into words how atrocious a concept that is in my mind.
Poor Sherwood will have to shout even louder at his players after this. But this result surely means there's a great chance of wild violence against the gooners. It's a bad enough tempered affair at the best of times. Hopefully this time it will really explode.
