Cool.

Chelsea got Rubin Kazan and Newcastle have got Benfica, tough game for Newcastle!

Just a thought but isn't it better for us if both Chelsea and Spurs keep getting through these rounds - that way they will have more games to play and may affect their overall league position?

Don't let that get in the way of an obsessive hatred!

It's better if they get harder games, as then it'll take more out of them and strengthen our chances of getting 5th/4th. Chelsea to Russia is a great draw for that reason.

A Chelsea v Spurs semi would be best. It'd be like two extra, very high pressure league games.

The semi final dates are April 25 and May 2. For Chelsea that would be right after their league fixture at Anfield and right before their league fixture at Old Trafford. That will give Agent Benitez every possible excuse to do crazy team selections which mess everything up.

Dare i say it but the best teams left in it are Spurs and Chelsea.... I couldn't give a fuck who is in it tbh.

I think a place in the Europa league next season is reserved for this years winners.
What happens that place if the team qualifies for the Champions league or even the Europa league, through their home league final position?

I thought they were talking about Europa League winners getting a Champions League spot?

UEFA Europa League

There are three places available in the UEFA Europa League:
  • The FA Cup winners will enter at the Group Stage
  • The fifth-placed team in the Barclays Premier League will enter at the Play-Off stage
  • The Capital One Cup winners will enter at the Q3 stage
In the event The FA Cup winners also qualify for the UEFA Champions League, The FA Cup runner-up will qualify for the UEFA Europa League, but in the place reserved for the lowest ranking Barclays Premier League representative.

The place with direct access to the Group Stage will be given to the club that finishes in the highest position in the Barclays Premier League of the clubs qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

If an English team wins the UEFA Europa League they will enter the next season's competition at the Group Stage, gaining an extra domestic place only if they fail to qualify through other means for either of the two European competitions.

If the holders of the UEFA Europa League have already qualified for Europe, no extra domestic place will be gained.

If The FA Cup winners, runners-up (if applicable) and the Capital One Cup winners have already qualified for Europe, their place goes to the next best placed clubs in the Barclays Premier League.

Well that clears that up then.
Fuck Chelsea and Tottenham Hotcunts
