There's always a case of it being unlucky on the offenders part when you get the ball but you just can't tackle like that....ridiculously high.

It was the follow through. He didn't hit the ball with the studs. But yeah, red card and dangerous play.

Nah was a red, as soon as your studs make contact with anything above the boot it's a foul for reckless and dangerous play.

I was incensed when we didn't get a penalty against Utd for the same thing (albeit our player wasn't injured thankfully).
