I stopped betting when my daughter (who is now almost 7) was born as I knew I would not be able to dedicate the time needed to watch/research footie enough to keep making a profit. I aim to get back into betting in 10 years time when my younger daughter (now 3) reaches the teenage years and neither of them will want anything to do with their Dad anymore.

That said, I've just placed my first bet in 7 years! It's a daft one because Czech have been poor in all 3 games so far BUT IMO are a good team and by law of averages are due a good performance. Delighted that they've finally dropped the useless Jankto and replaced him with Barák (Verona) who is a much better player. £50 @ 5/1.

A bit harsh on Czech, they are a decent team. The thing is these teams are quite evenly matched, neither are good enough to win the tournament but a run to the semi final was always possible for either of these teams once the knockout games became a thing.
