His head and some of his upper torso was offside. Bloody offside rule. Something needs to be done about it.

I'm sure Oncy is up in heaven, maybe standing on a cloud with his lad in his hand watching Italy.

They are so fucking good going forward.

2-0

The only reason I think he liked Italy was because he loved that idiot we signed from Roma but played about 3 times.

Whenever i tuck into a Cacio e pepe i think of Herr Oncy. Gone but not forgotten. RIP.

Think the Italians and the French are the teams to beat. And perhaps the Spanish and the Portuguese. Of course, you can never write off the Germans.

Italians are looking solid.

The only concerns I would have with them is the injuries/depth.

It's what cost them the Euro 2012 in the end - albeit against a superb Spain.
  • Pellegrini out for the tournament
  • Verratti - out indefinitely with a calf injury
  • Florenzi - injured in the first match
  • Chiellini - injured in the second match
All 4 are starters - the depth has done well so far, but any further injuries could really derail their tournament.

That is a good point. Italy have to be seen as one of the favourites it if they do not have to many injuries

Willkommen LenPa. Do you think Neuhaus is going to be Wijnaldum's replacement?

Hi Judge Jules, thanks!
I think he would be a real good fit and I also think that he can play on a higher (the highest) level and adapt his playing style to have a positive impact on the team (even if it may take a half a year). Further, Reds can get him for a reasonable price before he is getting in his "prime" time. Not to many things they can do wrong with Neuhaus. And to answer your question: I would say yes. What's your opinion?

Pretty much the same as yours. I think Neuhaus would need time to settle in, but is already a good player and could become a very good one for us if things go well.

What part of Germany are you from? If I say "Ein jut jebrat'ner Jans ist des jütigen Jottes bester Jeschenk" you can probably tell where I once had a job!
