I don't understand this revisionism of Sir Wastecoat, newspapers making him out to be like Sir Alf Ramsey reborn. Grealish, Rashford and Sancho should have come on much much earlier.
Sterling, Saka and Kane were gassed well before the penalties and considering the tiring ageing Italian defence Southgate should have anticipated that Grealish Rashford and Sancho could have exploited.
