England v Uruguay

Shit or bust for England. I can't see our defence or ropey keeper handling their strikers. 2-1 to them maybe. I can see us scoring though.

It's because I appear to disagree with you on nearly every point you make.

Other people just call you on your points before I do.... As there seems to be a queue

No, its only ever when it kicks off or nearly kicks off that you can't wait join in once its started, its noticable because you always do it, shithouses are annoying, you may not be a shithouse in real life but thats the impression i get on here, its only with you.

You might be the first person I've ever seen actually go after Fabio, and/or get him riled up.

I think that speaks greater volumes about you, than it does about him.

Just stick him on ignore

I think the Costa Rica v Uraguay result has done us a massive favour in that I think 4 points will be enough to progress.
I fancy Italy to get 9 points meaning a win and a draw will be enough for us if the goal difference is overcome.
I think we will draw with Uraguay and Italy will beat Costa Rica by 2 goals leaving the table:
Italy 6 GD +3
Costa Rica 3 GD 0
England 1 GD -1
Uraguay 1 GD -2

So if we beat Costa Rica 1 nil we would qualify.

We cant afford to lose to Uraguay and I think we can get the point we need.

Id play
Hart
Baines
Jagielka
Cahill
Johnson

Gerrard
Henderson

Oxlade-chamberlain
Sterling
Lallana

Sturridge

But I expect the team will remain the same.

Hopefully we have enough about us in this game.
Ultimately we could qualify on 3 points but I dont really want to take that chance.

100% my team. (assuming Ox is fit)

Fair enough, obviously im on the other side of the fence and think its a shame hes buys into the fantasy.

Buys into what fantasy? He believes in something spiritual, that's up to him, it's nothing that can be proven either way (like many beliefs and theories, it doesn't make them "fantasy's"), the comment is just ignorant and lacking in real understanding or respect for people's ideals.

If that's his belief system and it helps him be a better guy and makes him humble about how lucky he is, then the belief has served it's purpose. Isn't that what spirituality is about?

I don't buy into every culture's beliefs when it comes to religion, some of it's draconian, but that's when it's adopted or interpreted the wrong way and used for personal selfish gain.

If it makes some of us better people, because it makes us adhere to something morally right, then that's fine by me.

It doesn't look like Fabio is/was riled up at all, he just likes to jump on the bandwagon whenever im involved in arguments, usually when its against more than 1 person, its playground stuff with him, hide behind the rest and only pipe up when you have safety in numbers.

It just blows my mind sometimes the utter shite people can come out with, its complete bullshit that i was slagging Sturridge off, how on earth is pointing out or acknowledging a character flaw slagging someone off? sometimes it might be but it should be really obvious to anyone who isn't an over sensitive git that i was not slagging him off, the first word of my post was agreeing that i love the bloke!

John down the road is a hot head.
Chris next door is a very impatient person.
Frank from the pub moans an awful lot.

Just because anyone points out or acknowledges those character flaws it doesn't mean you are slagging them off, you must be pretty stupid to think that.

Fair enough if people don't think its a flaw with Studge, that's your/their opinion, like i said earlier im on the other side of the fence and believe it is, its no big deal or issue for me, its just a bit of a head shaker for me when people start going on about God this and God that, that's all.

You all carry on getting your knickers in a twist at fuck all though.

The BIB pretty much sums it up for me, now we are moving the subject a different direction and i can't be arsed arguing with you all about it.

Ive tried to stop all this arguing with people on here but it hasn't worked, quite likely a character flaw in myself that.

If you think someone having a religious belief is a character flaw, then its quite clear you're the one with the character flaw.

P.s, that was me slagging you off.

If you say so dear

Wait a second? ive just slagged myself off there!, 😕.

People don't like the way Lampard does the mother thing, Spaghetti is allowed not like the religious references.

I don't particularly like when people thank God for something, I think it takes away from the obvious effort and talent they have themselves. It's their talent, not someone else's. I wouldn't consider it a flaw, just a little annoying at times.

But of course, Sturridge has every right to do it if he wants, and I would never seriously complain about him or similar.

Fair enough if that's what you think, i don't take any offence to that, am i mean't to?

God spoke to me and told me he thinks you guys should chill out and be nice to each other.

On the football, there was some random matey in the pub garden the other night going on about the game, he was moaning about Gerrard and Henderson saying he would play Wilshere and Barkley there instead, i asked him politely about the balance of the team and who would protect the defenders?, he just looked at me and walked off, lol.
