I feel for Karius too, because at least he showed genuine remorse after the final, but the sign of a good keeper is the ability to bounce back - he just isn't and won't. Klopp is right to publicly back him, it's just man management on the face of it, I have no doubt that in reality he's gone, hopefully sooner rather than later. He needs a fresh break and we don't need an unreliable keeper with a poor mentality.
