Absolute utter wank for 18 months and a waste of squad place.

Then 7 goals in 3 games with 2 hat tricks.

Credit Maxi for some great finishing and a sublime 3rd today but I still think we should ship him out asap in the summer.

Hopefully the goal rush will get us a couple of Million for him.

Doing it for the last 5 games of a season shouldn't save him.

And to be honest goals aside he wasn't heavily involved.

Get rid of both.

He's movement is good but he's to slow to hurt teams with his running.

He is a player that flourished under a creative manager playing expansive football. I must have said the following about Maxi about a hundred times but i'll go again. He doesn't have the unique talents (pace power and skill) to impact a game on his own. That is why we've witnessed some average but steady games from him on the wing. He relishes being a part of team playing attacking football and at the moment we're playing some great football, therefore, so is Maxi. He compliments the players around him and his game intelligence is superb. He first touch is impressive, he is technically able and he will relish playing with Luis and Gerrard. I would def. keep him for another year.

He's know world beater but he does compliment others around him.

i've always felt he's a bit of a whipping boy and tried to defend him because i think he's got a lot to contribute in a pass and move system, but can't say i'd be overly bothered if he left in the summer really.

anyway, 10 goals this season now, all from open play - i'm pretty sure that's the most at the club, isn't it? how many of kuyt's have been penalties?

Maxi's has IMO bought himself another year. It would be quite unfair to sell him now.
He and Suarez seems to be getting along pretty well and Maxi might attract Aguero to Anfield in the summer.
