Dirk Kuyt is looking to return to Feyenoord

Was weird how Kuyt developed as a player. We bought I'm as this prolific striker only for him to totally fail in that position, and so by default ended up as a right-sided midfield-forward both for us and Holland, chipping in with some important goals and typically solid performances.

However, I wish he'd have been the goal-scoring machine

Hamburg seems to be the destination:

Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink said: “He has class, and he is also a fighter.
“There is nothing more that needs to be said about the quality of this player. Whether this is something we feel we want to commit to, we will see.”

Gonna be sad to see him go if he does. Seemed to love it in Liverpool. But i think its time. Even when hes been poor in the past he's had the big goals to even that out. There's been little of that this year.
But even when he's had those dips and I've been frustrated as fuck with him. It's dirka. Can't stay mad at him.

I have to respect that but, as well as being a languages grad, I've checked this with Dutch people myself. They tell me - and I heard Deadly say it himself once when he was interviewed - that the sound is like a German "u" with an umlaut. Basically for those who don't know the lingo, you purse your lips as if you're going to say "oo", then say "Kite" through them. It comes out halfway between the two. The sound is pretty much unknown in English, which is why English people have trouble picking it up.

Do they actually spell it "Kuijt" by the way?

Respect to you JJ, but my wife's auntie and uncle (her Scottish him Dutch) know him and his family; they live in Katwjk and they say K-out and say it should be pronounced so. Maybe it is a regional dialectal difference.
