Derby chasing Liverpool left back
Trevor Keane, 24 April 2012
Derby County are lining up a season long loan move for Liverpool starlet Jack Robinson.
The 18 year old, the youngest ever player to have played for the club when he made his debut against Hull aged 16 years and 250 days, has come through the ranks at Anfield and has made four first team appearances.
According to the Daily Mirror, Rams boss Nigel Clough, watched the youngster in action for the club’s reserves earlier this week and is hoping to tie down a deal for the left back.
The player signed a new long term deal with the club in October 2011 and it remains to be seen if Kenny Dalglish will sanction the season long deal.
A move to the Championship would see the player benefit from playing regularly at a level higher than the reserves and he could return to Anfield in the summer of 2013 a better player.

A year long loan would be good ... same for Flanno, and I'd loan Suso and Sterling to Championship (or PL) teams if any are interested. They need competitive matches.

Keep him or we'll waste more money on a back up for Enrique. We need to spend what funds we have on sorting out other areas of the pitch.

don't send him on loan. aurelio is out of contract at the end of the season and enrique is all over the fucking place when he is given too many games

Maybe a regular on the bench. Someone of his age would have to be eased through a first season. We don't want another young crock like Owen. As for Robinson, I think he's an increasingly classy-looking player, and while it would make sense to give him a chance to get some experience I can't say Derby looks an ideal team for him to get it.

Yeah let's keep an average full back cos our other two averages ones aren't playing well or are leaving.

BUY A FUCKING GOOD ONE
