Anyone know of a decent venue to catch the final in Orlando? Unfortunately I will have to be dry (can't remember the last time I experienced a final sober... maybe 1977), but I can get vicariously bladdered through my son.

Harp & Celt Irish Pub & Restaurant

Is what Google suggests, the lfcorlando fan club is based there. Maybe shoot them an email or call just to make sure. Although they say they show ALL our games.

Turns out that is the far side of the city for me, but I found this place that seems welcoming, notwithstanding the godawful name that, ordinarily, would ensure I avoid the place like the plague

Someone needs to explain to the yanks that these little lads don't actually exist

It was excellent, except I had to drink Diet |Coke all match while my lad sunk pints

I contacted the bar on facebook, in advance, asking if it would be mad busy - they said it would. I can only assume the American definition of "mad busy" is quite different to ours - we walked in 5 mins before kickoff, no problem getting a table in front of the main screens, even had time to saunter up to the bar & order drinks before kick off 🙂

Finally, it was spoiled a little by an idiot and his family (all scouse I am sorry to say). The match was on ESPN+ which is a streaming service, and this guy was getting live updates on his phone during the shootout & calling each penalty just before it was taken. No one else seemed to bothered, but it annoyed me, especially when he started jumping around like a madman just before Tsimi took his.

There's something very odd about Orlando. Grown men dressed in wizard robes, brandishing replica wands, as if it is the most normal thing in the world. I love all the rides, but they don't half attract the weirdos.

Literally no need, watch it as if it was live.
