That was an excellent cross from Robertson for Salahs goal. A lot of other people would have hit a shot, so he deserves a lot of credit for having so much composure so late in the game. Oxo also did well.

Dermott Gallagher has just lost all credibility to this Sky referee segment, he's claiming that Mane deserved his yellow card for diving, despite their being clear contact.
Refs are all pricks. Contrarily, Ian Wright supported us in all the decisions.

Dare I said.. Gerrard like..

That will be his position long term, midfield without a doubt..

Didn't Gerrard start at right back?

How long did Stevie play right back? It felt like an extremely short time but it maybe only feels that way in relation to how long his lfc playing career was

He was pulling his punches, dancing around the point which was simply, how the fuck can you call that a dive when there was contact you daft prick.
I don't see how they can be mutually exclusive

The contact wasn't enough to floor him, but then he milked the contact a second too late

Because diving is for faking a contact that didn't happen, not exaggerating a contact that did happen.

But the contact wasn't enough to impede him, so he's not making he most of it, he's actively making an extra non existent contact

I guess this comes down to where you draw the line on diving, for me if there's contact you are entitled to go down, it's up to the ref to judge if the contact was enough.

Has this dive / tackle entered the fourth dimension?
I don't know how you can't see that he dived.

There was contact, but not enough to cause a pen, you actually see manes leg doesn't move with the contact.

Then mane decides afterwards he's actually been kicked enough, so under no additional contact, he decides to fall over.

Contact doesn't mean pen.

Which I agree....if mane went down with the initial contact.

Contact doesn't mean a penalty no, but it means he didn't dive, that's the point.

He deserved a yellow for diving. Free ball insider the box.... defender slide away. What to do? Throw yourself? Fuck that. The contact was not enough to go down.

I agree it was a dive and a yellow but those gobshytes on NBC kept repeating "NO CLEAR CONTACT" when we all could see the contact time and time again in full HD slow mo ....... can the TV companies not sub the so called experts..

I'm glad you're so pleased we've just lost a player who was key to our play last year at the most important part of the season.

Anything to try to claim some validation, eh?
I'm not pleased, I couldn't care less. Lallana hasn't been relevant at all this season.

If he was a Spurs player he would have been drilled to fall Earlier.... there was contact and it would have been a peno...

He shouldn’t have done it so late.

Don’t give a fuck...

We won.

I had the ex manc Saha on who defended Mane, saying people watching on the telly underestimate the pain players feel when they get hit at full speed. It could be that the pain caused him to be unable to continue or "dive", even though it didn't look that bad on tv.

I suspect the ref kinda knew he made a mistake booking Mane for diving when there was contact, and spared him the second yellow for that comical ball grab.

Yes it was ridiculous. The replay was showing the contact and they were blatantly saying the opposite like they were watching something else.
