All Palace do is get players in the box and move the ball to them quickly. It's not fecking rocket science. We faff about from side to side, then backwards, then from side to side again, loiter nervously outside the area, then either lump a ball in near the keeper or try and thread it through a crowd of defenders. The deluded self-image is of a thinking team playing cleverly, but it just doesn't have any connection with the facts of the matter. All we do is basically just waste a bit of time between mistakes.

Well, that was a good strike but the rest has been rubbish.

Borini should have been told in the summer you're not wanted here mate, on your bike.

Coutinho has been wonderful but he's had precious little support. Sterling is screwed, Gerrard looks listless, Lallana went quiet from the 20 minute mark. We've got huge problems and, as much as some twats want it to be, it's not all Rodgers fault.

Too many attacking options need time to settle in for this season. Daniel's injury has really shattered my confidence and we're going to be too far behind by January to really do anything about it at this rate.

If FSG sack Rodgers then they need shooting to be honest but he needs to get players like Markovic and Mario firing.

Beyond that it has to be said, again, he didn't bring in players who could replicate the qualities that we lost with Suarez. That is his single biggest failure with us so far IMO. He needs to get that sorted in January - and not late January either. He needs to get that lined up for January 2nd.

We'd be top 4 if our #1 target had chosen us ... Unfortunately Wenger got the closest thing to Suarez ...
