I still wouldn't want to change manager until the end of the season, whats the point? You could maybe twist my arm with a Klopp Reus double swoop.

Goalkeeper looks error prone. Defenders look nervy and disorganized. Midfield doesn't carry any threat and the strikers have almost no service. It's difficult to say anything positive at all at present.

The really worrying thing is that the games are coming thick and fast now and there is almost no time for coaching, this is going to be all about character.

I thought the turning point was the substitutions of Allen and Lallana, we had been holding our own and even pressing until they were replaced and then lost the meagre amount of impetus we had.

Allen was good.

Lallana disappeared in the 2nd half.

We lost the midfield. That's it. We've got a defensive midfielder on the pitch who isn't defending and we've got another one running around covering for him.
No goals were scored when Allen was on the pitch.

Today's defeat came as no surprise to me. We've always had some feature to our game that gave hope: a good striker/or a mean defense/or a creative midfield but we appear to be lacking in all departments at present.

As Carragher said on Sky Sports after the match, our players are letting opposition players bully us. Even strugglers like Palace.

It's a worrying sort of problem because you can't fix it just by swapping the players around.

Maybe Emre Can has the strength to impose himself on the midfield but the manager doesn't seem to think so.

Yes. Teams don't just sniff that out in the early stages of a game, they know it with certainty before they even play us.

If we don't get at least six points from those games, then there's no real excuse.
We're Liverpool FC for fucks sake. We should not be worried about playing these no marks (all due respect & that bollocks). Even when we were shite I wouldn't worry myself over the likes of those.

The fact that any of us are is appalling.

I think BR might be worried.

BR Is fucking shite, it is actually starting to loom like Suarez got us second on his own. You could argue that the players have stopped playing for him as that is how it looks...

There is no pace, penetration, organisation, belief, leadership, style of play or anything tha resembles something that constitutes a team.

Fucking shambles

The negativity that the players are showing is going to be hellish difficult for Rodgers to put right.

Yes, looks like some 'clear the air' talks are required.

There appears little passion or discipline for whatever reason. That reason needs to be exposed.

I didn't actually watch it. I was happily watching the grand prix and had sky+ed it to watch after. When I saw the result I ditched that plan and instead spent that time fanning my balls. Anyone want to be a super star and give a ratings of how we did? Cheers.

Never mind I found this.

Simon Mignolet - 5/10
Another poor performance from the Liverpool goalkeeper. The Reds were up against a side who had won only one point from their last five games and made them look like champions. This is relegation form.
Javier Manquillo - 5/10
Absolutely struggled against Yannick Bolasie down the right-hand side and was overrun over and over again.
Dejan Lovren - 5/10
What must Lovren do before Brendan Rodgers drops him? Score a hat-trick of own goals?
Martin Skrtel - 4/10
A statistic that sums up the Slovakian's performance is the fact that he won 0 per cent of his tackles. That is Skrtel all over right now.
Glen Johnson - 5/10
Anyone who thought they couldn't see anything worse than Johnson at right-back this season were wrong. There's one thing worse: Johnson at left-back.
Steven Gerrard - 5/10
The skipper was not at the races today, wasting all of his shots (Liverpool only had one on target) and also, like Skrtel, winning none of his tackles.
Joe Allen - 6.5/10
The only non former Saint to come out of today with any dignity. The Welshman played well, which - for some reason - meant he had to come off in the second half in yet another puzzling substitution from Rodgers. The only criticism is that he could have been more lively in front of goal but, in trademark Allen fashion, went for sideways passes in the final third.

Adam Lallana - 7/10
The ex-Southampton midfielder was Liverpool's best player, setting Rickie Lambert up for a fantastic goal within the opening two minutes. Like Allen, however, Lallana's impressive performance somehow convinced Rodgers to substitute him.
Philippe Coutinho - 5/10
Didn't really produce... anything of note. Didn't look bad on the ball but needs to show so much more urgency - as do all of his team-mates.
Raheem Sterling - 5/10
This was a poor performance from Sterling and the 19-year-old looks lost right now.
Rickie Lambert - 6.5/10
The second former Southampton player to do well for the Reds. Lambert didn't do all that much after his goal but did provide Rodgers' side with a constant outlet. His goal was superbly taken, too.

I made the calculated decision of sleeping through the 7:30 AM kickoff.

With grim predictability, RAWK is currently resembling a Comical Ali press briefing. All is well, apparently, whilst Carragher is getting the shite kicked out of him for daring to suggest otherwise. Also, a lot of clog-wearing arl fellers are suddenly saying 'aye' a great deal, and will probably be moving on to 'put wood in t'ole' on all critical threads by the onset of evening.

Just need to remind everyone that Palace weren't really that good today. We just went there and stunk up the place.
It was that bad.

I never read the Liverpool football forum on there these days. No player topics or transfer speculation or match threads allowed. All seems a bit pointless.

No criticism allowed. They're are supposed to be the shining beacon of Liverpool supporters.

I got a warning from their mods because I was being too negative.
