He annoyed me a bit last night. Hung onto the ball far too often and I don't think Hart's save was as outstanding as the commentators made out. Coutinho hit it straight at him.

Agreed, but then again, he did get us the first goal with a cool finish.

I think we stuck him out on the wing too much. I would've given license for Coutinho to swap positions with Henderson - for times when we struggle to retain the ball in the middle of the park. He looks so much more effective when he's playing more centrally.

And apart from his delivery for our goal, his set piece delivery was dreadful.

Needs to start becoming more decisive and productive in the final because atm he's all hype for me.

His set-pieces are almost always rubbish. Don't know why Henderson or Suarez aren't taking them in Gerrard's absence.
