He has a serous me me me ego problem - you can tell by his body language on the pitch - I think given that he is 25 - and probably the wrong attitude for someone like Klopp to be patient enough with him to sort out the issues he has with his overall game.

Raceeeeeee Cistttttttttttt

I think you can tell by the way he uses his walk, that he's a woman's man with no time to talk.

Been sleeping on this.. and now I am almost certain I know what I would do if I were us..

Go all in for Alexis Sanchez.

Does tick a lot of the same boxes as Coutinho really, just even better. Probably.

He wants out and recent reports suggest that City will try Arsenal's resolution not to sell with a £30M bid. I mean.. that's like pennies in todays market.

So let's bid £50M to close the deal and smother Alexis with a golden contract to turn his head. At City he'd be up against an army of wingers and forward players anyways, with us he'd be a certain starter (in most games).

How old is he - 29? Even supposing he recovers his top form from a couple of seasons ago, and then maintains that, with a better attitude, for, say, three seasons, I can't see either FSG or Klopp wanting to spend much on him (bearing in mind what his wages would cost). It's the kind of thing City can do and not give a damn about the financial issues.

Yup. And his attitude worries me.
Both Suarez and Coutinho, whatever hate we have, were absolutely giving their all on the pitch. Sanchez on the other hand..
Moans Suarez style by then proceeds to walk around the pitch. Don’t want home.

I am convinced we are also in a financial situation where we can spend rather handsomely on 29-year-old world class players. The quoted fee City are supposed to be offering are about 1/5th of the money we've just received from the Coutinho sales.

Apart from Hazard I don't think there are better wingers/forwards in the Premier League than Sanchez (apart from the two we've already got ourselves perhaps).

I see ex MD Christian Purslow says we should go all out and sign Veratti. This is the same dickhead who as MD of the club was using us as Championship Manager on the pc and signed Joe Fucking Cole. Yeah we won't take your advice nobhead

Sanchez would be great but I can't see him wanting to come here. He's a perfect fit for Guardiola's team in the same way he is for ours. I wouldn't be surprised to see Aguero leave in the summer.

Besides the idea of spending 30M on a player with 6 months left on his contract just seems insane. I still can't believe Oxlade-Chamberlain cost us 35M with 12 months left. Madness.

They've appz offered Sanchez 13 mill £ per year in salary and a 30 mill £ sign on fee. We got fuck all chance of getting him.

Ha, Kent is a fairly conventional, very pacy winger. I haven't seen anything of him during his spell in Germany but I can't see him developing into anything like Coutinho's style of player.

Big bet on Lanzini signing has seen one bookies (Coral?) reduce him to odds on to sign this window £40m-ish.

I mean, he's decent, but that's a bit of a fucking stretch isn't it?

That Lanzini has been shite this season... and I know Zaha was probs playing against the quickest defence in Europe against Citeh last week, but he looked slow as fuck. He did win the pen, fair enough, but all game he got caught after five paces.

Just buy Mahrez already.

Lets get this back on track:

Has anyone heard anything solid ?- the papers and internet forums are driving me mad, cannot even focus on work at the moment. So the names been branded around linked to us are:-

1) Mahrez - probably going to Arsenal, may cost too much.
2) Lemar - probably going to Arsenal/Liverpool - but Moron don't want to splash ALL the cuntinho cash on this guy. Mind you in 3 years can sell for high fee if good.
3) Strootman - what the fuck ? - injured all the time hardly plays and is 27 years old. Is this to add another Dutch player to keep Virgil happy ?
4) Goretzka - probably signing for Bayern and teases @Modo into believing he will join us so @Modo has a wank.
5) Pierre-Emerick Aubmeyang - hopefully not because he is 29 and no one else ever wanted him. So something is wrong with him.
6) Lucas Moura - cheap option that will be a success for Man United but probably will come to us in the hope Barca will eventually sign him.
7) Nebil Fekir - linked to Arsenal but I reckon he is a better bet than Lemar. Probably sell him to Real Madrid in a few years for 200M
8) Some guy from Spain named Dani Ceballos - fuck knows - wants to fuck Klopp
9) Alisson Becker - Goalie - rumours we are after him at Roma - but can we afford to keep 4 goalkeepers ? - probably not.
10) Lanzini of West Ham - yes the pound stretcher purchase for us. Hope not he is shit and worryingly I heard first from my Hammer friend.

So my friends that is all I have heard - have any of you fuckers heard anything ? - if not then I swear Klopp is the new Arsene - him and his coaching staff are probably getting extra bonus amounts for these big transfers.

Secretly I am hoping we will get 3 players with the Cuntinho money - but if we don't sign anyone then assume like @manwithnoname that the money we got was really to cover the purchase of Big Virgil and Keita for next season. Don't delude yourselves because that is what it will really mean. If we sell Strurridge this window then assume we will not have enough attacking options as we will be 1/2 injuries away from being a mid-table team.

At one point 2-3 years ago i thought I was watching Coutinho's doppelganger in Lanzini; the same shuffle/drop of the shoulder style, same build, passing etc. I wanted us to buy him just because Coutinho was injured so often.

But since then Coutinho has progress to a world class player while Lanzini hasn't at all. He seems happy as squad player, rarely imposing himself.

Do not want.
