My mate at work told me that a couple of weeks ago - and I said I have not heard of any speculation on our side regarding this. If this is true then FSG are fucking complete twats because this is the equivalent of replacing Suarez with Balo, and Lambert. If we don't make the CL for next season because of this - then this is all down to FSG and Klopp. Its fucking stupid in every way.

That's because it's not on his timeline..There isn’t a tweet like that on his timeline

FSG don't choose who we sign.
Klopp is the guy who has the first and last say. If you aren't happy with a player we buy or sell, then it's Klopp you should be blaming not FSG.
Plenty of other ways to have a pop at them.
So it was Klopp's decision to sell Coutinho?
Yes, as reported - everywhere!
So it was Klopp's decision to sell Coutinho?
Why did he sell him?
Because he wants people who play for him.
If not, he wants them gone.

[bcolor=transparent]The fact is that keeping a player who doesn't want to stick around just doesn't sit right with Klopp.[/bcolor][/article]
[bcolor=transparent]He's a manager who prides himself on the spirit and camaraderie in the squad. Focus and unwavering commitment aren't viewed as optional, regardless of the talent.[/bcolor]

He didn't want to play for him in summer, and made that extravagantly, abundantly clear. Didn't sell him then. Was his plan to woo him and give him extra-special Jurgen Hugs every day, in the hope that he would change his mind?
And at what point did he realise that didn't work? Is it measured in special Jurgen Hugs? 100 special Jurgen Hugs with no reciprocation means he genuinely just had to go?

I think he's a cracking player and worthy of a punt. Watford are struggling a bit. They only bought him for about £10m in the summer. Chelsea are after him too.Richarlison? We are down to 1 now.

Have you actually read Klopp's statement? Everything you need to know may be inferred therein. If you cannot join the dots then you're being obtuse. He didn't want to play for him in summer, and made that extravagantly, abundantly clear. Didn't sell him then. His statement is bollocks and explains fuck all
My '100 Jurgen Hugs' theory is more sensible, although nothing that anyone has stated anywhere has really explained why we've sold one of our best players half way through a season, just four months after refusing to negotiate any transfer at all
Apart from the obvious: we got VVD, and needed to balance the books.
For a smart guy sometimes you're as daft as a brush. His statement is bollocks and explains fuck all

Think he's very like Firmino.
Works his ass off, creates loads of chances, can play a few different positions.
I like him and he'd suit us. Not sure he's the right player to replace Coutinho though.
Chris Bascombe running the story that we're trying to move Keita's move forward to January. Now I don't believe this will happen, but would you be happy with this and us spending the money in the summer? Personally I would be, this January we'd have lost a massive creative fulcrum, but we'd have massively improved our central defence and midfield, to almost a point that would raise us an entire level as a team. There's so many games this season where I feel VVD and Keita would have made a massive difference, I can't wait to watch them play together in our team, and getting them both now means they're both fully settled and ready to go next season.
