Coutinho on Barca's radar

Rumours are now that RM want Coutinho and want to sell Isco and Rodriguez to finance the deal. I would take those two as a swap deal.

Since when did Madrid need to sell to finance deals? Im calling bullshit on that 1.

Just seen its the daily star reporting it....they're about as credible as the joker in batman.

Well, they do usually sell one or two to fund the latest Galactico. Just ask Ozil.

Decent chance there'll be riots outside Anfield if we sell Coutinho to a Premier League rival. It might just have people at breaking point as far as FSG goes.

Madrid have sold Robben, Higuain, Ozil, Morata, Sneijder, Di Maria, Van der Vaart and LOADS of other brilliant players who form part of a bloated squad and often thin it to accomodate that ONE signing.

Of course it's bull, but Isco and James are seen as superfluous will most likely leave.

I don't think they will want to do that, so Coutinho would have to do what he can to force such a move.

FSG do not appear to be simply about selling assets and making money, because they know they require a quality team on the pitch, which means they must invest in new players and approve wage increases for our best players - especially with a manager like Klopp to keep happy

I think the issue with them is not about squad asset-stripping, but rather the level of investment they are prepared to sign off. That's what will keep players who will be coveted by the richer, more successful clubs at Anfield and out of the clutches of Chelsea, City or whoever - winning trophies and being a regular challenger for the title

We have two players right now who most of the top teams here and abroad would be interested in: Mane and Coutinho. We need to get more players in at that level to ensure we keep them and build the team into what we all want.

That's where FSG have failed to do enough, and this summer will be an indicator of that ambition and if it has changed

If not, Coutinho will leave. And he will be correct to do so.

Firmino is 24 and has scored 84 goals in 292 games so far.
I know you arent a fan but youre crazy if you dont think the line to sign him would be a mile long.

A player who can play 3 positions, works his balls off and has 10 years ahead of him and most importantly scores goals.

Any of the three would be hot as fuck.
Lallana too if he was 5 years younger.
