I really really wanted Ireland to win but to blame the exit on a conspiracy concocted by UEFA is a bit far fetched. You went out for not taking your chances as much as Henry ripping you off.

I don't understand this mentality; we should be seeing teams in the World Cup that have earned their place.
This is why I could never understand the discomfort seen in certain quarters when New Zealand qualified.
They earned their right to be there; if someone feels that their qualifying group is pants then fine, ban Oceania.
The fact is; they were set a task to achieve which they did.
