5M FOR JAMIE O'HARA! WHAT THE FUCK.
[/quote]

UK players way over priced.

Parejo just joined Valencia for 6M (very talented youngster, central mid) ... and we forked out 20M for Henderson lol.

Juventus have confirmed that Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Simone Pepe and Marco Motta have now beensigned outright for a total of €37.25m.

All four players spent this season on loan in Turin with the option to buy on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign.

That right has now been exercised by the Italian giants, who have failed to qualify for Europe next term, at a cost of almost €40m.

Juventus
Alessandro Matri (Cagliari )- €15.5m
Fabio Quagliarella (Napoli) - €10.5m
Simone Pepe (Udinese) - €7.5m
Marco Motta (Udinese) - €3.75m

Looks like Udinese will have quite a transfer kitty to spend on their CL campaign. Juve have proved they arent skint. Will be a shame if they manage to get Aquilani on the cheap after agreeing to meet the price to turn these loans permanent.

Wolves
Dorus de Vries (Swansea) - free transfer

Sunderland
Ji Dong-won (Chunnam Dragons) - £2m
Keiren Westwood (Coventry) - free transfer

Sporting Gijon
Oscar Trejo (Mallorca) - undisclosed fee

Espanyol
Hector Moreno (AZ Alkmaar) - €4m

Sunderland have confirmed the signings of Birmingham winger Sebastian Larsson and Coventry keeper Keiren Westwood.

The pair are both out of contract with their current club and will officially join Steve Bruce's side on 1 July.

*****

Larsson isn't a bad signing on a free transfer, as long as they aren't paying crazy wages.

Young would have been an upgrade on Babel.
If you liked Babel I guess you would have loved Young

How coMe an established player like Young only cost 16 million while a young player like Jordan cost 20 million? Something is wrong.

We did..... we just spelt his name D-O-W-N-I-N-G on the offer fax.

Apparently we signed up carraghers son.

Is he about 8 or something?

Young wouldnt have come even if we had paid more than the Mancs.

It's not Young that's a problem, it's the failure to find comparable players at good value.
