we should get pelé so he can bring neymar with him.

it doesn't work like that. are players swayed by the word of a great ex player?

I would say so, yes.

If one of the best ex-players around recognizes your talent and wants to work with you you'd be more flattered at least than when some moneyman in a suit tries to convince you don't you think? Perhaps I'm wrong, that's how I like it to be mind.

I don't know how much stock to put into Bascombe's articles these days, but it would concern me if Dalglish thinks that his signings will eventually prove their worth. Because in most cases, they won't. They'll just continue to drag the team down, and dilute the quality that we do have. Far better to accept that the majority of them were mistakes, and set about rectifying the situation. I fear that his faith in his own signings could very well be his downfall.

his articles are full of fucking shit. I hate reading his articles now.

We should get Marcelo Bielsa, so he can work with Cruyff in making LFC the British Barcelona (Bielsa is Guardiola's mentor, in case you didn't know). And bring Muniain and Javi Martinez with him.

Dalglish is class, and class doesnt vanish over night. Malaga was thinking like many on here are thinking, Pellegrino would have been sacked last year. He wasn't because he is class.

That 1 mill £ clause in Kuyts contract is a sacking offence alone
Agreed. When looking back (especially the 5 mill pound extra with all paid upfront for Carroll) he has really been an unexperienced kid the grown ups could steal the candys from.....

On the radio the other day he was claiming he's still a Red. Why would he bother unless he recognises there's an issue with his articles now?

I just don't like the way his articles read, like he has a massive chip on shoulder. he just takes sly digs all through that article, it's pathetic.

Oddly enough I don't think bias is the problem. In a way I reckon it's the opposite. What I think Bascombe's suffering from is Lawrenson Syndrome, a strange complaint affecting some (not all - Jocky Hansen doesn't suffer from it for example) ex-players and others connected with the club who are active in the media and try extra hard not to appear biased. Jocky rips into LFC when he thinks he needs to, but gives us due credit the rest of the time, whereas the likes of Lawrenson, Bascombe and to some extent Redknapp Junior seem to regard commenting on us as an opportunity to send a message about themselves - "Look at me, I'm impartial, I am".

Don't be naive enough to think he doesn't coach Ross. Besides, even if he doesn't he still knows how to set up teams, to deploy tactics, to buy players, to instil the right mentality, leadership and approach, and to be the greatest manager in history.

There's a bit of a difference between him and our glorified cheerleader.

Fucking hell. Just fucking hell.

arsed

but asked works as well as didn't anyone inquire where the fuck they are going when liverpool are about to play their most important match of the season?

Probably because Red Sox are about to play one of there most important games in there history, and something tells me henry and werner are more baseball fans than football fans.

I think that is probably right but to be honest I'm not really surprised. Is anyone?

I'm not sure I'm too happy with that, Ryan is versed in conventional football wisdom, I know whats important.I'm the opposite. The obly thing we have in common is being irresistible to women.

It is the 100 anniversary for Fenway Park. Its home opener against the NY Yankees exactly 100 years after the first game there. A small notice that 100 years ago when they prepared for the grand opener it turned to be a very quite and reserved affair with no celebration at all due to the Titanic catastrophy just days before.
