Christian Crapsen Must Die

Status
Not open for further replies.
that quip by gene should be a contender for 'put-down of the year' seeing as nobody can think of a single example in the awards thread.

very witty.

Christian Crapsen is not a defensive midfielder.... I know he is paid a couple of million pounds a year to be one, but he isnt. I have seen defensive midfielders, and there is nothing by Crapsen which reminds of one... I dont know what happened here. Maybe he is part of a extremely intrigued witness protection program or something, but somehow someone has fooled us big time!!!

Words cannot describe how shit he is. Does he even have one supporter on 6CM? KHL, surely not?

Me, in a small way.

He's nowhere near as bad as is made out on here. Every other foreigner gets a year to bed-in, Poulsen was getting raped from day one. He was nowhere near as shite and ineffective as the likes of Babel or Cole tonight for example.

He's not great, but he's not as disabled as y'all are making out.

Poulsen seems to be very pedestrian and one paced. He is coming to the end of his career so he won't improve in that regard so what hope is there to cling to?. He is a very experienced and 'was' a tidy player during his spell at Sevilla. He has always played at decent level and had a reputation for having the ability to ruffle a few feathers, his 'job' on Kaka was sublime. I was expecting a snarling, tough tackling hard bastard. Instead we got a slow, soft, passenger.

It's very hard to warm to. No one really wanted him, his career was winding down and we waved goodbye to Aqualani who went in the other direction. Also we we're spoiled with the pace, power and dynamism of Javier Mascheano last season. Poulsen is an older slower version with less talent. Of course that was going to be hard to swallow. He doesn't have a future here, any new manager will want to replace him for a younger, more mobile version.

He was the worst player on the pitch tonight. By a mile. Truly horrific. That's not to defend Babel, who was pathetic. Again. But then some of us have known he's shit for years. And Joe Cole was perhaps our third shittest player, although he was up against some stiff competition (for third shittest player, I mean).

I dunno. Poulsen's wasn't fucking wonderful, but he seemed to keep it relatively simple for the most part. I can't think of one positive thing Babel did.

He's 30 Ryan. If he requires a year to bed in, what's the point of buying experience with no resale value?

Granted, Poulsen did keep it simple. So much so, that it seemed simpler to just let the ball bounce of him, rather than manipulate the direction of it to a player in red.

Well, with Roy at the helm we will soon see a lot of players run off, and they will all be replaced mediocre shit like Poulsen.

Don't fucking ask me. I didn't advocate buying him.

I don't think he's *as* bad as people are suggesting. Granted, it's probably more entertaining to fucking slaughter his every appearance regardless of how well or bad he plays.

Meh, I don't even know why we're having this discussion. He's barely worth it.

Nobody can say he was anything less than shit today, irrespective of how the rest of the team played, and irrespective of how shit he's been every other time he's played for us.

I personally thought everyone was highly mediocre to extremely poor apart from Kelly and perhaps to some extent Shelvey although he certainly didn't impress either.

These repetitive threads from posters who wants some of our players dead however are seriously boring and extremely one-dimensional as well. But as has already been said it's probably both funnier and easier to just see everything through extremely white or black shaded monocles.

Poulsen was very mediocre and looked pedestrian to me as well. But everyone did really. Apart from the one run from Jova and perhaps one or two good runs on the right made by Kelly we had no-one offering anything. At all. From no-one.

It was a game that meant nothing of course and that showed, and adding to that, Roy was once again reverting to these seriously boring and negative tactics where players are first and foremost asked to sit back and wait and wait and certainly not put any pressure on the opposition. I'm really underwhelmed by his approach and his tactics.

And a bit baffled too with regards to our decent to good performances against Chavs, Villa and to some extent Spurs too. Reckon Roy has forgotten what worked back then. Or something.

"it's probably both funnier and easier to just see everything through extremely white or black shaded monocles"

Where the fuck shall I start here?

The inherent illogicality of viewing anything through a monocle being funny?
The fact that it wouldn't be easy to see anything through extremely black-shaded monocles?
Having more than one monocle is actually a broken pair of glasses?
What is an extremely white shade of white?

All in all, it's one of the shittest sentences I've ever read.

Probably. I still reckon you got the gist of it.

It's not all black and white. I dunno what I meant actually. This thread sucks. That was perhaps what I was trying to say.

It doesn't suck as much as that sad sack of shite Christian Cunting Crapsen.
TROOOOOOOFAXXXXXXX.
To the max.

There were so many fuck off Poulsen chants last night it was untrue, it's like he has actually replaced Lucas in the worst midfielder ever category.

I think I'm in between the Ryan-Brendan pov ... He's not that bad, but he's not near good enough to be in our first team squad if we still hold onto the illusion of a 4th place challenge. He could still probably do a good job in Italy or Spain.
