Although, being able to actually make it on to the playing field is a real plus as far as footballers go.
Hodgson: "It will be interesting to see how Sturridge goes over the weekend. The decisions will then be taken & none will be injury-related"
If he picks Rashford over a fit Sturridge I give up. The hype surrounding that kid is already getting unberable.
"The World awaits him in the Euros". "He's like a young Van Basten and Ronaldo".
Insane.
You gotta hand it to him though, he doesn't let any opportunity pass him by. Annoyingly looks like might be the real deal at this point.
Looks like a talented kid. But to compare him to Van Basten and Ronaldo already?
Insane
Id take Rashford before Sturridge.
Its fine having Sturridge in your squad when you have a squad to choose from like in the premier league, but when you have absolutely no faith in him being able to play 6 games in 3 weeks whats the point.
He will let you down again and again.
And lets face it Vardy and Kane are the starters and if they get injured Rooney will move upfront.
Rashford or Sturridge will only be backup, why not take the kid and let him learn.
I know hes United but they have been so shit I havnt had time to hate on him yet.
Where's this from exactly?
Imagine same scenario and Sturridge is as per injured and we are bringing John Stones on to play upfront last 15 minutes.
We dont have any decent centre backs though. Who could he take?
Dier can play CB if needs be.
And maybe I selfishly want sturridge to stay at home. 🙂
Nah, it's cos the media always follow the same cycle.I don't know any England fan who ever goes into a tournament thinking they can win. It just seems to be a myth on here among the non-English, as though it makes poking fun at the inevitable even more enjoyable. Convincing yourselves that we didn't see it coming and we always "think it's our year".
It's like listening to Everton and United fans talk about Liverpool.
