How the fuck has Roy not being sectioned yet? I know there's a lot of apathy for England on these forums, for completely understandable reasons, but there's a really good team in that squad, and this owl faced cunt is going to fuck it up. So disappointing, but I don't know why i'm acting like i'm surprised.
 
Well, he's coasted through qualification and his recent record with England is very strong beating some good sides in friendlies, too.

Naturally there's always cause for concern for Roy in charge, but now seems an odd time to express it. We've had the perfect run up to this tournament.

Hodges's record is pretty good, I don't think we're that defensive either, despite the brush he normally gets tarnished with.

That said, if we do well it will probably be as much down to our collective quality coming together at the right time, and the fact we've finally got a few players who come from a mixed breed of clubs, rather than just "the top four" and the usual baggage that goes with the big club, big player mentality. I think we've got good balance and a few really fucking good strikers/midfielders. Shame we've got a shite defense though.
 
I think we will have a decent tournament. Hodgson knows hes finished in the job after this tournament, so I reckon he will actually go out to win games. Our defence is so fucking sketchy we cant set out to Hodgson teams.

In Vardy, Kane and Alli we have a fucking exciting triangle of attackers who can beat anyone. I reckon we will actually for once just go for it in games.

We arent good enough to win it of course there are far better teams than us, but we can certainly go to the Quarters maybe even the semi finals.

Yeh, the defence is awful, well central defence anyway, the wing backs are decent, but in general we've got a strong squad, we could make the semis easily if we play to our potential, but we won't. I know he's got a decent record, but it's in the qualifiers against lesser teams, but when the team comes up against a proper challenge in the tournament, it'll crumble, just like it did in the world cup. If he takes Rashford ahead of Sturridge, i'll despair.

Unfortunately he'll play that team in a 4-3-3 with Rooney and Vardy out wide.
 
That defence will cause an early exit from the Euros. Awful.
Smalling is shite.

I'd start Clyne instead of Walker. Think you need someone who can actually defend, and has a brain.

Looks like Studge will miss out.
 
Given the lack of quality strikers in other European teams, I think this England team can go far with the Kane, Vardy combination.
