The flu vaccine is usually only good for one year though, and then there's a chance you didn't get the vaccine for whatever strain is currently doing the rounds.There are Flu vaccines - even though the viruses mutate quickly (and I believe I read there can be hundreds of mutations per year) the vaccines are generally still effective for most people because they still damage the 'envelope' the virus is contained in, effectively neutralising it.
I think there will be a vaccine, they'll rush it through the clinical trials so it'll be out sooner rather than later. I think I'll wait and let others test it out...
