Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

When Trump sits down to look at economic data, with the US, globally, or just his own businesses, the way he handles and interprets that data is far closer to science than what clinical researchers do. It is the arrogant doctor that needs to put some respect on Big D's name.

You're talking about a guy that managed to mismanage fucking casinos to the point of bankruptcy.

They literally shit money all day long, you have to be a special kind of fucking retard to fuck that shit up

Haha I saw someone who I didn't think was into all the conspiracy come out with a mad post and link to a David Icke video. I think non-english speaking countries have yet to discover the full lizard theory

And yet the truly terrifying thing about Icke was he was about 20 years ahead of everyone else in banging on about the paedo elites...

I seem to remember reading something a while back that said the melting of the permafrost could be a ticking timebomb as it could release viruses and bacteria that are millions of years old that our bodies ain't got a clue how to cope with

A frightening thought. The worst is almost certainly yet to come

Jesus you're a fucking clown with this shit dantes. What happened? Did you read an Ayn Rand book and jizz in your pants or something? 7 or 8 decades? Fuck me, read some different fucking books dude, cos you are brainwashed beyond belief

Who? Perhaps you should look at a graph of debt over those time scales.

Perhaps you should check the time between Keynes and the post-war creation of the welfare state - I'll give you a clue, it weren't 70-80 years.

I'll tell you something else for free - the Friedman fanfic societies didn't start over here or in the US until late 70s, so this 7 or 8 decades thing has literally been plucked out yer arse, rather than regurgitated from some bullshit like you normally do.

Economics just ain't your forte mate, you've consumed a single style of information and become completely dogmatic about it in the face of insurmountable evidence. Highly unscientific and quite beneath you actually

You could also go back to the Roman economy. They also had a welfare state, handing out free grain (JJ or Portly can confirm this). Tiberius responded to his debt burden with quantitative easing, debasing their coins with cheaper metal. Or you could just use your socialist politics to deny the historical data and pretend you're smarter than dantes.

The problem is economists don't know how to model those graphs. Even if they had the ability to use harmonic functions like sin with some pi's, it's no good because the peaks are different heights and occur at unpredictable times. A bit like coronavirus. So they give up, and just describe it in words, like historians. Or, if they really don't want to let go of the maths, they use linear models over the short term. Don't presume that I have the same problem they do.

So, capitalism is magic but still needs bailing out every now and again by socialism. Is that what we're supposed to learn from this?

Yes. Also that this is not asymmetric, capitalism is not capable of bailing out socialism when it goes wrong after seven to eight days. And therefore also that socialism doesn't require people to actually vote for a socialist government.

Shouldn't you finish solving the origin of the universe, or win a court case, before you take on the mantle of greatest economist in the goddamn city?

For your years of bleating on about how amazing pure capitalism is on here, it's funny how just recently you've started admitting it's not perfect and needs a dose of socialism every now and then.

It is amazing, I didn't say that it was perfect. In fact in all those years I have been telling you of this doom, and posting plenty of graphs of debt, and praising Trump for the rise in US interest rates ahead of it.

*munch munch munch*

Hey Dantes... the world would be in a much better state if Obama was still President.

*cracks open a beer*

This was the week that people were bemoaning how they have lost Corbyn and Sanders in the same week, crying actual tears at the tragedy of it all, of what could have been. Even my reserves of disgust and hatred are running out looking at these fools, you should have picked a different week to crack open the beer.

No. NononononononoNO!

Graphs? No
Political discourse and socialism? NOOOOOOOoo. No.
David ICKE???!!!! NooooooooooOoooOOOOOooo

This thread has gone batshit crazy.

Tell you what's batshit crazy. This pub round the corner from ours got bought and was getting turned into flats but they've had to stop because bats live in the roof and you have to pay 5000 quid for each bat you kill coz conservation. I think we've already had this convo but whatever.

Don't play coy Brenners, everyone knows you love a good ol' spot of racism (casual or otherwise), unless of course it's against the Jews

To be honest, I can't really even remember who you are.

You seem to have no football or Liverpool FC interest or opinion to share, but just seem to pop up when anyone says something about racism or politics, post something tedious, and then fuck off again.

Is this really the best Forum for you?

We have, yes.

If it wasn't me involved, I'd maybe think it was quite a nice thing, poor little bats. Although I did not feel the same way about the squirrels who made a home in my loft, because I poisoned those little cunts.

If it was that amazing there would be safeguards in place to ensure mass bailouts shouldn't need to happen. Obviously there are great parts to it but it's a broken system overall.

Heads need to fucking roll when this shit is over.

Yep, and we know where to start chopping:

China 'forces Italy to BUY back masks and coronavirus supplies it had DONATED to Beijing just weeks earlier'
  • China sent a plane-load of masks and ventilators to Italy last month
  • But later reports suggested that Beijing was selling the kit rather than donating it
  • China is making Italy buy back the very supplies that Rome donated weeks before it too became overwhelmed
  • Comes as China's PR efforts in the developed world have been met with distrust
Loads of them were faulty, too
