Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

So more like a full lockdown the half arsed thing we have here?

It's a kind of gradual lockdown. There's been a series of measures over the past ten days which have increased restrictions each time.

We're not at full lockdown yet , but we're not far off.

Seems like it's just days away. They should be shutting the building sites now. There's still loads of building happening in Dublin.

We'll have full Italy scale lockdown here in a day or two. This level of lockdown has been sound. Christmas at the end of the universe vibes. I think the next level where you can't even walk your dogs is gonna be shit. But not as shit as NYC, so whatever.

Apparently a patient who was being treated using the new Dyson ventilator is already showing signs of picking up.
Heh.

In a serious note, I'm fucking fuming at the amount of press they're getting.

They didn't design it. It was designed for them. Yet they're still charging a lot for them.

Gtech meanwhile, designed a much more basic, cheaper, easier to manufacture ventilator, in much less time, that loads of existing manufacturers in the UK can make in huge numbers extremely quickly, & made the plans available free to anyone.

They didn't get a fraction of the press coverage that Dyson have.

The weather has been shit here the past few days. The Greek PM could have made an announcement that he was lifting the quarantine for a day or two as we've all been really well behaved and the Greeks would have self quarantined anyway.

It's almost as if Dyson is a Tory or something.

Whereas here, from the day after the lockdown came in, The Lying Rag has been cracking the flags continuously.

Literally the best & warmest weather we've had in over six months.

Extremely fucking frustrating, but typically fucking English.

Guess you'll just have to suck it up.

Now we'll finally get to learn how many kids he has whenever they turn up at the funeral.

WTF. How about setting an example?

Mr Johnson last night joined Chancellor Rishi Sunak as part of a nationwide applause for NHS workers as they battle the pandemic.
A Treasury source said Mr Sunak is not self-isolating because he doesn't have any symptoms, but other people in the prime minister's office are.
